Srinagar airport is about 12 to 15 km from the city centre and the Dal Lake hotels, and it is the starting point for most Kashmir trips. For a group arriving on one flight, a single Urbania or Tempo Traveller is simpler and usually cheaper than three or four cabs, and your luggage stays with you.

How the pickup works

• Share your flight number, arrival time and group size when booking.
• The driver tracks the flight and waits at the arrival gate with a name board.
• Only passengers with tickets can enter the terminal, so all meetings happen outside the arrival area.
• Security checks at the airport can slow things down at peak hours; a few minutes of patience is normal.

Direct to Gulmarg, Pahalgam or Sonamarg

Many groups skip Srinagar on day one and drive straight to their resort. We do direct runs to Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, and drop-offs at Dal Lake and Nigeen houseboat ghats. Fares depend on the drop location, so share your destination for an exact quote.

Useful tips for first-time visitors

• Prepaid mobile SIMs issued outside Jammu and Kashmir do not work in the valley. Postpaid connections do, so plan your calls and hotel contact accordingly.
• Winter flights are sometimes delayed or cancelled due to weather. Our drivers wait and re-plan as needed.
• If you are landing late at night, tell us in advance so the vehicle and driver are scheduled for that slot.
