Leave early. Head out by 8am for Gulmarg or Pahalgam and you’ll skip both the crowds and the parking problem.
Pahalgam needs a union cab. Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari require local union taxis β your main vehicle can’t go in. We arrange this in advance so it’s not a surprise on arrival.
Book the Gondola ahead. The Gulmarg Gondola queue gets long in peak season. We help with advance booking.
One destination a day. Don’t try to squeeze Gulmarg and Pahalgam into a single day β they’re about four hours apart, and you’d spend the whole day in the vehicle.
Stop at Pampore. The saffron fields sit on the SrinagarβPahalgam road and bloom around OctoberβNovember. It’s the best fifteen-minute stop on the route.
